Found in Borneo on ridges in montane forests at elevations up to 700 meters as a hot to warm growing epiphyte with a creeping rhixome with .9 to 1.2 cm] between each ovoid, slightly flattened, pseudobulbs and carrying a single apical, erect, rather thin, elliptic, graually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, [3.5 to 4.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular floral bracts
