Found in Yunnan province of China, the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam in montane forests at elevations of 400 to 1100 meters as a miniature sized, warm to hot growing epiphyte with 2" [5 cm] distant, globose pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, narrowly elliptical leaf that gradually narrows into a conduplicate petiole and blooms in the fall on an erect, basal, 7" [17.5 cm] lomg, many small flowered inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb
