Common Name The Brush-Lipped Bulbophyllum

Found in Assam India, eastern Himalayas, Sikkim, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam at elevations around 2000 meters as a small sized, cool growing, unifoliate epiphyte, with clustered stout, ovoid pseudobulbs and a single apical, linear, notched, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, stout, 12" [30 cm] long, longer than the leaf, decurved, many [to 15] flowered inflorescence that has triangular bracts with flowers laxly clustered on the round rachis.
