Common Name The Scientific name means close, may refer to the close set flowers on the raceme

Flower Size 3/8" [1 cm]

Found only in Northern Thailand at altitudes around 1400 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with conical psuedobulbs carrying a single, apical, lanceolate leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring on a short to 8" [20 cm] long, arching scape with 4 sheaths and many flowers that start to be pendant towards the apex. This species does well mounted on cork or treefern and should be given moderately bright light, cool to warm temperatures and water while growing with a lessening after the pseudobulbs have matured
