Found in Madagascar in humid, montane forests at elevations of 950 to 1150 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with conical pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, oblong leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect, 4.8 to 6" [12 to 15 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
