Common Name The Rutile Bulbophyllum [refers to the admixture of red and yellow on the lip]

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Sabah Borneo in low and open mixed forests at elevations around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close set, erect, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, ovate, acute apically, abruptly narrowing below in to the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect to horizontal, 1.2" [3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
