Found in Java, Sumatra, Sabah, Kalimantan and Sarawak Borneo, Bali, as well as the Philippines in lowland and hill forests at elevations of 400 to 1100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a chain of ovoid, adnate to the rhizome pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, thick, elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, erect, .32" [8 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence
