Found in southwest Yunnan and Myanamar in dense forests onrocks at elevations of 1800 to 1900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome that has .4 t o.8" [1 to 2 cm] between each ovoid pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, erect, deciduous, subsessile, ovbovate-lanceoalte, leathrey, rounded and emarginate apically leaves that blooms in the early fall on a basal, on a leafless pseudobulb, erect, glabrous, 4.4 to 6.8" [11 to 17 cm] long, secund, densely many flowered inflorescence with 5 tubular sheaths and small, lanceolate floral bracts as well as carrying secund flowers
