Flower Size 1 1/4" to 2 3/4" [3 to 7 cm]

A miniature, unifloliate, epiphytic species found in Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo at altitudes of 1000 to 2000 meters in wet or dry, dense or open montane forests on bare or mossy branches on understory trees or shrubs with an oblong, somewhat flattened pseudobulb that is oblique with an upturned tip, adpressed and close-set to the rhizome carrying a single, apical, elliptic, petiolate leaf which blooms in the summer and early fall on a slender, 2 3/8" to 3 3/4" [6 to 9 cm] long, erect inflorescence that has a solitary unscented flower held well above the leaves.
