Common Name or Meaning The Twisted Hair Bulbophyllum [refers to the petals]
Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]
Found only in Sabah Borneo in high montane forests at elevations around 1300 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool, pendant growing epiphyte with .6" [1.5 cm] between each ovoid to ellipsoid, hardly flattened pseduobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, thick, ovate to elliptic, yellowish-green, abruptly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a .8" [2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a tubular floral bract.
Very close but found in west New Britain and there are some differences around the lip, other than that it is a very good fit.
