Found in southern Yunnan province of China, Thailand and Myanamar in evergreen broadleaved forests as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte at elevations of 900 to 1700 meters with ovoid-oblong, lumpy pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, deciduous, thin, narrowly oblanceolate leaf and blooming in the winter on a 10" [25 cm] long, decurved, sheathed inflorescence with pendant, fragrant flowers. This plant requires high humidity and regular waterings as well as partial shade.
