Common Name The Three Palae Bulbophyllum [refers to the three elongated palae that hang from each of the the sepals]

Found only in Thailand as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close-set, nearly gloular, dark green pseudobulbs enveloped when young by a basal sheath that with age breaks up into a polygonal pattern and carries 2 apical, erect, deciduous, broadly lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the spring after leaf fall, on a thin, 1 1/8" to 2 1/4" [3 to 6 cm] long, light green inflorescence with a dense head of many apical flowers
