Common Name The Flexible Bulbophyllum [refers to the wiry hanging rhizome]

Flower Size 1/4" [8 mm]

Found in Sabah Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations of 1100 to 2000 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing, hanging epiphyte with a dark brown, wiry, hanging rhizome with .18 to .6" [.4 to 1.5 cm] between each cylindrical, not flattened pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, thick, ovate to elliptic, medium to dark green, veins usually darker, narrowing into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a very short, single flowered inflorescence carrying a scentless flower.
