Found in New Guinea in rainforets at elevations of 150 to 200 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with slender, close set stems carrying a single, erect, linear-ligulate, fleshy- coriaceous, apiculate leaf taht blooms in the spring and fall on a terminal, single flowered inflorescene arising from a spathe.
