Found in New Guinea as a miniature, cool to warm growing, sized epiphyte with elongate, thin, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, conduplicate, basally narrowing into a petiole that blooms in the late spring and summer on a very very short, single flowered inflorescence with the flower held at leaf and pseudobulb junction..
