Common Name The Transverse Midlobe Cadetia

Found in Papua and New Guinea and Irian Jaya as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte at elevations of 50 to 500 meters on mossy trunks of smaller trees in the understory of dense rainforests on ridges of hill-country that has an erect stem broadening gradually to the apex which has a single, apical, deeply conduplicate slightly decrved in the upper half, oblong leaf and blooms mostly in the fall, but can be any time on an apical, short inflorescence with a single flower held at the leaf base and the occasional flowers opening in succession one at a time.
