Found in New Guinea anf the Moluccas rainforests at elevations of sea level to 400 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set, slender pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, lanceolate, fleshy, obtusely bidentate leaf that blooms in the winter, spring, summer or fall on a terminal, solitary flowered, .2" 4 mm] long inflorescence.
