This small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial species is from Victoria, Australia occuring in well-drained soil in heathland and heathy forests where it blooms on an erect, to 9" [to 22.5 cm] long, 1 to 2 successive flowered inflorescence occuring in the spring and is pollinated by bees.
