Common Name The Handsome Calanthe

Found in the Philippines in damp forestsat elevations of 290 to 485 meters as a giant sized, hot growing terrestrial with stems that are slightly thickened towards the base and carrying thin, plicate leaves and an erect, axillary, racemose, 2' + [60 cm+] long, several to many [9 to 12] flowered inflorescence
