Common Name The Crenulate Leafed Calanthe
Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]
Found in Sabah and Kalimantan Borneo in lower montane forests and on sandstone ridges at elevations of 1200 to 1700 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with ovoid pseudobulbs enveloped completely by leaf bearing, sheaths and carrying 5 to 7, plicate, elliptic, crenulate, acute leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, occasionally brnached, pubescent, 7.2" [18 cm] long, successively 2 to 4, to 20 flowered inflorescence with a few well spaced bracts
