Found in SE Queensland Australia to Tasmania occuring in open forests in soils varying from sandy to clayey as a small sized, cold to warm growing terrestrial orchid with a single, narrow, hairy leaf with a basal, 18" [45 cm] long inflorescence with 1 to 4 flowers occuring in late winter to early summer.
