Common Name The Lance-Like Caladenia - Mellblom's Spider Orchid
Flower Size 3.2" [8 cm]
Found in Victoria, Australia at elevations of 5 to 50 meters in dense coastal heathlands and heathy forests as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial that blooms in the spring on an erect, 10 to 14" [25 to 35 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence. This species requires summer forest fires to bloom properly.
