Found in Southern Australia and Tasmania in sandy coastal scrublands and in open forests as a small sized, cold to warm growing terrestrial with a single, hairy, often repent, lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring in nature, on an erect, 16" [40 cm] long, single to several [1 to 4] flowered inflorescence.
