Often cited as a synonym of C reptans. This Southwestern Australian orchid is a miniature sized, cold to warm growing, colony-forming terrestrial locally common in Jarrah forests in well drained loams with a basally purple blotched, reddish beneath leaf that blooms in the spring after a grassfire has past the previous summer on a 2 to 6" [5 to 15 cm] long, pubescent, 1 to 3 flowered, apically swollen inflorescence.
