Common Name The Noble Caladenia - The Noble Spider Orchid

Flower Size 4 to 5.2" [10 to 13 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia in a narrow coastal band in she oak thickets and woodlands at elevations around 5 to 50 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 8 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
