Found in western Sikkim on the forest florr at elevations of 1400 to 1800 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terretrial with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 3, elliptic-lanceolate, acute, channeled petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later spring on an erect, terete, puberulous, 8 to 13.4" [20 to 33 cm] long, 2 to 10 flowered inflorescence with a single lanceolate bract and lanceolate floral bracts and carrying mildly flagrant flowers
