Found in Colombia with pseudobulbs carrying erect, elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, plicate, gradually narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms on an erect, terete, 10" [25 cm] long, laxly 6 to 8 flowered inflorescence with patent, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
The photographed species was found in Fr Guiana from which I can find no records of it's being from there, so use with caution as all sources say endemic to Colombia
