Found in Espiritu Santo state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with elongate-oblong, small pseudobulbs enveloped basally by a few leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, oblong, acute, attenuate below into the base leaf that blooms in the spring on an ascending, as long or longer than the leaf 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence
