Common Name or Meaning The Lidao Cheirostylis

Found in Taiwan on montane slopes in mosses at elevations of 800 to 1100 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a creeping, fleshy, somewhat coral-like in appearance, green, shortly pubescent rhizome with 4 to 6 nodes giving rise to an erect, simple, pale green, covered in glandular hairs strem carrying 2 to 3, simple, alternate, basal, ovate, acute, cordate basally, slightly fleshy, entire and slightly wavy margins, pale green and glabrous on both surfaces, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm] long, denselyu glandular hairy, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying smaller, white to grayish white flowers
