Common Name The Sheathed Cheirostylis
Flower Size .6 to .65" [1.5 to 1.7 cm] long
Found in Myanamar, Thailand, Vietnam, Java and Borneo on limestone in lowland seasonal evergreen forests and tropical rainforests at elevations of 50 to 800 meters as a small sized, hot growing terrestrial with 4 to 6, basal, pale gray-green with dark gray green nerves, narrowly ovate to ovate, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, tomentose, 4.8 to 6.4" [12 to 16 cm] long, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence
Cheirostylis didymachanthus is often given as as synonym of C spathulata and most likely is but I have left them separate for now as the differences to me seem warranted for separation.
