Common Name The Painted Stenotyla
Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]
Found only in Costa Rica in moist cloud forests on shady tree trunks at elevations of 1400 to 2500 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with articulate, arranged in a fan, narrowly oblanceolate, attenuate leaves that blooms in the spring on an axillary, 3.4 to 4" [8.5 to 10 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
