Flower Size 5/8" [1.5 cm]
A small epiphyte from Malaysia and Laos on ridgetop hill forests on stunted trees in exposed situations occuring at elevations of 1200 to 1750 meters and requires warm to cool temperatures, light shade and high humidity with ovoid, maroon to brown pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, linear leaf and blooms in the later summer on a dark purple, 4" [10 cm] long inflorescence with an umbel of several [10] flowers held above the leaf.
