Found in the Philippines at elevations of 120 to 1500 meters on rocks and trees as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with 4 angled, shiney, yellowish, apically gradually tapering pseduobubls carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-elliptic, leathery, gradually narrowing below into the channeled, rigid petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, slender, 6 to 14" [15 to 35 cm] long, 8 flowered inflorescence with 3 linear-lanceolate, strongly acute sheaths and linear-lanceolate, acute floral bracts and holding the flowers in an umbel
