Common Name The Double Lobed Cleisostoma

Found in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Java, Sumatra, and Borneo on trees in montane forests at elevations around 400 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an elongate, slender stem carrying 2 rows of oblong to strap shaped, apically obtuse and unequally bilobed leaves that blooms in the spring on a horizontal to pendulous, 1 to 3 branched, 8" [20 cm] long, green, streaked purple, successively to 15 per branch many flowered inflorescence.
C duplicilobum and C rostellatum are very similar but differ in that C rostellatum has protuberences at the mid lobe of the lip and this species does not. but differs in the protuberences on the lip mid lobe which C rostellatum has.
