Common Name The Linear-Lobed Cleisostoma - In China Ge Ju Lan

Found in the Chinese Himalayas, Assam, the eastern Himalayas, Thailand and Malaysia in broad leaved evergreen forests on tree trunks in shade at elevations of 500 to 2000 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a stem enveloped by leaf bearing sheaths and carrying distichous, unequally bilobed apically, linear, becoming conduplicate below into the base leaves that blooms in the spring through summer on a lateral, 5.6" to 8" [14 to 20 cm] long, paniculate, glabrous, laxly many flowered inflorescence with 3 distant, tubular bracts and ovate acute floral bracts.
