Common Name The Mantiquera Cleistes [A mountain range in eastern Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo states of Brazil]

Found in southern Brazil at elevations around 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a relatively short stem carrying, lanceolate, acuminate, amplexicaul below into the base leaves that blooms in the summer on terminal and axillary, 1 to 2 at a time flowerd inflorescence.
