Found in the Philippins as a medium sized, cool to hot growing epiphyte at elevations above 1000 meters with crowded, tapering, elongate pseudobulbs enveloped by several, dry, membraneous sheaths and carrying 2, apical, oblong-lanceolate, petiolate base leaves that are enveloped by closely overlapping sheaths that blooms in the spring on an arching, slender, 3 to 6 flowered, 6" long inflorescence arising on a new growth with a few [5] fragrant waxy flowers.
