Found in Myanamar, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Borneo in hill ridge forests at elevations of 1000 to 1600 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with [4 to 7 cm] between each pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, elliptic, acuminate,plicate, 5 nerved, grooved petiolate base leaves that blokms in the winter and early spring on a hysteranthous, slender, bare, 3" [7.5 cm] long, single [possibly more] flowered inflorescence enveloped basally by imbricating bracts
