Common Name The Beautiful Coelogyne - In China Mei Li Bei Mu Lan

Flower Size 1 to 1.2" [2.5 to 3 cm]

Found in Yunnan province of China and Myanmar on trees in forests as a small sized epiphyte with a stout rhizome giving rise to ovoid to ovoid-oblong, dark green pseudobulbs that are rather drawn out at the apex with several obscure angles that become more pronounced in time and carring 2, oblong-lanceolate to elliptic, acute, subcoriaceous, plicate, 7 nerved, dorsal prominent leaves that blooms in spring on a hysteranthous, erect, stiff, bare, 9.4 to 10.4" [24 to 26 cm] long, successively 4 to 12 flowered inflorescence with deciduous floral bracts
