Found in New South Wales Australia in heathland and heathy forests among sedges and shrubs at elevations of 20 to 100 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, short, stem clasping, free part .4 to .6" long, ending below the flowers leaf that blooms in late winter through later spring on an erect, .6 to 1" [1.5 to 2.5 cm] long, 5 to 12 flowered inflorescence
