Common Name Feilding's Coryanthes

Found in Tachira state, Venezuela in wet forests at elevations of 400 to 500 meters as a hot growing epiphyte with oblong-conical pseudobulbs carrying plicate, lanceolate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the attenuate base leaves blooming on a basal, recurved to pendant, 10 to 12" [25 to 30 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a fragrant flower
