Found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania Australia in mountains and tablelands away from the coast on sheltered slopes and near streams often near rocks at elevations of sea leavel to 800 meters as a warm to cool growing terrestrial with a single, dark green to reddish green above, silvery to reddish green below, cordate leaf that blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, to leaning back, single flowered, short inflorescence
