Found in Sabah and Sarawak Borneo on mossy banks in mossy montane forests at elevations of 1350 to 200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a subangular stem with a basal sheath carrying a single apical, sessile, heart shaped, acuminate, flat with smooth margins, pale green leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, single flowered inflorescence
