Found in Queensland Australia, New Caledonia and Vanuatu in low scrub or in dense forests in deep humus at elevations of 200 to 1250 meters as avery small hot to cool growing terrestrial with a single, cordate, flush to the substrate, veined, round leaf that blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, short, single flowered inflorescence
