Common Name or Meaning The Taiwan Corybas - In China Tai Wan Kai Lan

Found in northern Taiwan on mossy cliffs and rocky outcrops in forests at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a subglobose tuber giving rise to an erect, pilose subtereanean stem becoming an erect, glabrous stem with a basal, short cataphyl at the basal node and carrying a solitary, near the apex of the stem, sessile, cordate, reticulate venation, acute apically learf that has a lanceolate floral bract and carrying a single, subsessile flower blooming in the later summer.
