Common Name The Closed Cryptopylos - refers to the closed and hidden spur opening
Flower Size 3/4" x 1.3" [2 x 3.25 cm]
Found from Indochina to Sumatra at elevations around 300 to 350 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying pale green, obliquely oblong, narrowing towards the obliquely bidentate apex leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on a pendant, 5.2 to 5.6" [13 to 14 cm] long, few to many [10] laxly flowered inflorescence with basally clasping, triangular, obtuse floral bracts .
