Common Name or Meaning The Delicate Cryptocentrum

Found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with an erect, monopodial stem enveloped basally by roots and apically by leaf sheaths carrying hemicylindric, linear, thick, adaxially shallowly concave, abaxially convex, with no raised midvein, obtuse, unequally bilobulate, erose margins, multinerved leaves that blooms in the later spring through fall on a basal, erect to horizontally spreading, peduncle terete, 1.6 to 3.6" [4 to 9 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
