Found in Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia at elevations of 1700 to 2450 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cold growing, caespitose epiphyte with a somewhat branching rhizome giving rise to a stem enveloped by articulated, distichous, imbricatiing, leafbearing sheaths and carrying narrrowly linear, arcuate, conduplicate, articulated to the broader base leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, to 2.4" [6 cm] long, terete, single flowered inflorescence largely enveloped by tubular acute bracts nad has an infundibular, acute, slightly longer than the ovary floral bract.
Every drawing I can find is completely different but I feel that this one is correct.
