A medium sized, cool growing, terrestrial orchid without psuedobulbs from Eastern Half of Victoria, Australia in the coastal to mountain areas in heathy forests, open forests, woodland and taller closed forests in well drained soils and has ovate, acute, narrowing into the petiolate base leaves that are pale green on top and deep red, purple or brown beneath, blooming in the spring and fall on an erect, slender, to 15" [37.5 cm] long, many [9 to 12] flowered raceme with successive opening, inverted flowers.
