Found in Paraguay, southern and southeastern Brazil and north west Argentina as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial or epiphyte with a few3, erect,linear-lanceoalte, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, conduplicate petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 14" [35 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with linear-lanceolate acute bracts and as long as the ovary floral bracts.
